Sodium Sulphate (Glauber’s Salt) is a versatile compound used as a laxative, filler in detergents, a clarifying agent in glassmaking, and a leveling agent in textiles, helping dyes absorb evenly; it also serves in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, ceramics, and for solar heat storage.

Glass & Ceramics: A clarifying agent (fining agent) to remove air bubbles from molten glass, and a flux in ceramics.

Heat Storage: Its unique solubility properties allow it to store large amounts of low-grade solar heat during phase changes, useful in passive solar heating systems.
