Potassium Carbonate (Granular) Feed Grade
Potassium carbonate feed grade is a white, granular compound that’s used as a feed additive and preservative to supplement the diets of production animals and horses.
This product is used in dairy cattle diets for increased milk production by providing nutritional potassium especially during lactation or heat stress.
It is a white granular product that is readily soluble in water.
It’s also used in many other applications, including:
Food: As a leavening and stabilizing agent, and as a replacement for sodium bicarbonate in baked goods
Agriculture: As a fertilizer
Chemical manufacturing: As an ingredient in chrome plating solutions and nickel brightening solutions
Glass production: As a component in developing baths and stabilizing agent for fixers
